When you join NAPHIT, you instantly belong to a community of people interested in information technology in public health. The main benefits are the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences and to learn what others are doing in public health IT. As our organization grows, we will add to those benefits already available.
Overview of Membership Benefits
Membership benefits vary, depending on the type of membership purchased. Currently there are two categories of membership types—Voting and Non-voting—and within these categories are different types of memberships.
Voting members consist of those members whose state or local public health department has purchased a membership, and who have been appointed as members.
Non-voting members consist of those members who have an interest in information technology in public health, but who do not work for a public health agency in IT or were not designated as members by their agency. These members may include students, retired public health agency employees, members of other public health professional associations, non-profit associations, consultants, corporations, or simply individuals with an interest in public health IT.

Corporate Memberships
NAPHIT recognizes that our corporate partners often create solutions or provide services that our members may be interested in. We invite our corporate members to join NAPHIT with the understanding that our association must maintain a neutral stance with regards to promoting specific products and services. We also ask that our corporate partners respect this stance and use speaking opportunities as a way to educate our members about available technologies and trends rather than to market products. NAPHIT looks forward to developing mutually beneficial relationships with the corporate community. Corporate memberships are available at four levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Corporate sponsors receive benefits based on the level of sponsorship.
