NAPHIT develops policy statements to suggest the role that public health IT leadership should have in activities and topics related to health IT. Although NAPHIT actively engages both its member and non-member public health CIOs/IT Directors to provide input and feedback when developing its policy statements, NAPHIT does not guarantee that these statements reflect the views of all public health IT leadership at the state and local levels.

We welcome any feedback on this area of the site, and especially encourage public health CIOs and Directors of IT to share their thoughts and ideas about our existing policy statements and to suggest policy statements that we might consider developing.
