/ Strategic Plan /
The NAPHIT Strategic Planning Committee wrapped up strategic planning with their final conference call meeting September 10, 2003. The process consisted of surveying internal and external stakeholders to determine what these groups believed the organization should focus on, developing the organization's vision and mission statements, and then determining the association's strategies and strategic objectives for the next three to five years. The end result is a strategic plan that has been used to create a roadmap of our first year activities based on the year one priority areas that the plan outlines:
- Relationship Building: strengthening current partnerships and fostering and developing new partnerships
- Communications: information sharing, facilitating communications on systems' needs across states, best practices collection and member education/training needs
- Membership/Marketing: membership development and organization visibility and awareness
- Fund Development: organization funding
- Management: organization infrastructure planning and development
